Today’s nap time activities included doing the first draft of the Wizard Boots size 3T! I have had a few requests to increase the size range so I’ve finally gotten to work on it and will hopefully have a few tester pairs ready this fall. Do you have a 3T-sized little one in your life who would love a pair? 🙂
It has been tricky to size things up quickly for a couple of reasons.
1) I don’t have daily access to toddlers of all ages (and sizes). My mama friends have been more than great at letting me try stuff on their children. But the children are not always so game!
2) Babies’ grow in surprisingly strange ways! It’s not just a matter of adding 0.5″ onto the whole circumference of the pattern. Sometimes the feet grow way faster than everything else.. Then at another stage, legs can shoot up while the feet stay more or less the same.
In any case, it’s a big learning process for me, and I’m learning to treat each new version or size of a product as it’s own entity.
